SERVICE BOOKS
We can print individualised orders of service (also referred to as service booklets) which provide a general guide for mourners to follow during the funeral service. They are available in either black and white or colour printing. Most families decide to provide themselves with a limited number of colour booklets and choose black and white for the people attending.
The books usually feature a favourite photograph of the deceased and contain copies of the chosen psalms, prayers, hymns etc and names of the people delivering the eulogy or readings. Sometimes families will also include an invitation to their friends to join them for refreshments afterwards either at the funeral centre or at another venue.
You may also like to include a cherished poem, possibly a favourite football emblem or simply a meaningful quote, which in some way symbolises the life of your loved one. The booklet thus becomes a tribute to the life being celebrated, serving as a keepsake to take home afterwards and to send to family and friends who may not have been able to attend the funeral.
