Viewing

Deciding on whether to view your loved one can be one of the most difficult decisions through the process of arranging a funeral. It is certainly not a decision you have to make at the time of the consultation. You may feel you definitely don’t want to, but then on the day of the funeral you may change your mind. We can and will accommodate your choice.

When one has a viewing we understand with our physical senses the reality of death. It is always going to be difficult but can also be a positive experience. For example, if there are family members who may not have been able to say goodbye or after prolonged illness it can be comforting to see your loved is at rest and no longer suffering.

At the time of consultation, our Funeral Consultant will discuss clothing with you. Often favourite clothing is chosen or items of clothing that had significant meaning.
